Manual pre-filter with backwash

The AWFT012 is an economic, efficient and reliable impurity filter. It can be widely used for water from public water supply systems, underground wells, factories, mining companies, etc. The filter can initially remove sand, rust flakes, scale, particles, slime and suspended solids, and effectively reduce contamination such as rust, turbidity, and bacteria proliferation in water pipes. Furthermore, it protects water utilizing household appliances such as washing machines, water kettles, dish washers, coffee machines as well as in-floor heating and central air conditioning systems.

The cleaning process of the FT012 consists of two stages: flushing of the filter cartridge and high-speed discharge. This method allows for efficient and thorough cleaning of both the filter cartridge and filter body. Raw water entering the FT012 flows from the outside to the inside of the filter cartridge. By turning the top green knob clockwise, the cleaning process is started and both the flushing system and high-speed discharge valve are activated.
The FT012’s head is made of brass, and thus withstands mechanical stress and tension while preventing damage to the plastic head during installation. The pressure-resistant filter body is made of high strength polyamide. The food-grade stainless steel filter cartridge effectively withstands mechanical shocks and prevents deformation. The FT012’s cleaning brushes are equipped with silver inserts, which actively prevent bacteria proliferation. (The FT016 is equipped with two pressure gauges to monitor pressure drop through the filter cartridge, to easily determine the degree of clogging).
